Oscilliscope Theremin with Joule Thief

This Theremin is built around part of a panel from a deceased oscilliscope. Two other parts were also used to make two more Theremins
with Joule Thieves.Once again I used the basic Theremin circuit, but with some changes:
I used a 10 K variable resistor for pitch control and a 20 K variable
resistor for volume control. The circuit is powered by a 9 V battery.
I started with the four pieces of wood for the frame and put some sheet metal on 3 of these
to reflect the light. On the bottom piece is a piece of
mirrored acrylic sheet.
I glued these together, then attached the panel using some spacers.
I used part of the aluminium casing of the oscilloscope to cover one side.
The other side is clad in some DibondŽ off cuts.
On the top of the Theremin is a piece from a vintage tin can,the bottom
from the same can was used to make the door.It was almost the same size.
