Salvaging electronic and other useful parts:Answering machines
The first answering machine is a Record-a-call 80A from,I believe, the beginning of the 1980's.This one is particularly interesting
because it has three,12 Volt, solenoids which can be very useful. It also has a speaker and a motor.
Most answering machines have a few timers and this one is no exception: it has five NE556n's.It also has a large 2200uF capacitor and 470 uF capacitor.
D400,D200,C1815 transistors.LM386n amplifier, plenty of diodes and resistors,a switch,200K Ohm potentio meter and a red LED.
The second answering machine probably dates from the same time and is called Meccastar(but I have no idea why).
There is only one NE556n on the circuit board this time.Other electronic components:Capacitors:2200 uF,470 uF and 100 uF.Potentio meters:
10K Ohm,1.5M Ohm,250K Ohm.Transistors:c945,k163,a952.
And dozens of diodes and resistors.
