Salvaging electronic and other parts from a Ferguson 3475 radio/record player

This Ferguson 3475 dates from the 1970's ,I believe.I haven't found much information on it.It has a Garrard 620-s record player in it.The previous owner told me it started smoking one day,and we all know smoking is bad for your health, and the same goes for electronics. When I opened it,I saw some very bad corroded diodes.
